Nursery

Today we dug up the potatoes and were very excited to find lots of them hiding underneath the soil! We washed, cut and boiled them. They were delicious! Articles 24, 28

Today we talked about symmetry in Nursery. We enjoyed creating our own symmetrical butterflies using a simple printing technique. We think our butterflies look gorgeous! Article 28, 29

At Front Street we all take part in PSHE Jigsaw lessons.  In our lesson this week we have been talking about our bodies and how we can keep healthy. This week we have been finding out about ants and stick insects. We went in a bug hunt in the garden and found lots of different creatures hiding in dark corners and under things! We have made an ant house and had Mrs Short’s stick insects to visit. What a busy week! Article 28

Today we loved harvesting some of the things we have grown. We pulled up the radishes and cut the rocket leaves and chives. Then we shared them at home time with parents and carers. It was brilliant to see how well things have grown. We are excited to see how our peas, turnips, carrots, potatoes and
