In History in Year 4 , we started our Stone age, Bronze age and Iron Age topic by looking at artefacts. We discussed what we noticed and what we wondered. these questions will help drive our learning this half term as we use a range of sources to discover the answers.

In History, we are learning about the Anglo-Saxons. We examined different artefacts, looking at what they were made from and how they were used. We recorded questions about the people who owned and made these things, and we’ll try to answer them this term.

Year 5 have been learning about land use in Whickham. We are currently discussing the site of the old school building and how it could be re developed so we walked up to see the area in question.  We are collecting opinions so you may receive a Google link to complete a survey.
