This week a group of children went to Gateshead Sport for Academy to take part in this years Gateshead SSP KS1 festival. The team completed a round robin of activities including; long jump, running, team games and ball skills.

This week ten children from Reception went to Gateshead Leisure Centre to take part in Gateshead SSP under water theme festival!

The children have loved attending our French club this year! They have wowed us with their French! During the last few lessons they did some work on the Olympics.    

Wow what an afternoon we’ve had! We’ve had so much fun joining in with some sports activities led by young leaders at Whickham Comp. We took part in a cricket throwing activity, a relay race, took part in a parachute game, but the most fun activity of all was… dodgeball! We absolutely loved it

Today our Panathlon Team competed in the Tyne & Wear Finals competition at Temple Park in South Shields. Front Street represented Gateshead in this competition and won Gold Medals and came away with the Panathlon trophy! What an amazing achievement for our school.
