We had a great morning exploring Whickham Library. Thank you to all of the helpers who came with us! The children loved sharing the stories and we borrowed some books which we are enjoying back at nursery. Thank you to all of the library volunteers.  Article 28

Year 2 are exploring a new unit in DT called Linkages and Levers. Today they made some of their own linkages to help them understand how certain mechanisms work.

We are exploring texture in art and created 3D pictures using home made playdough. We made shapes and used instruments to create different textures on the playdough.

We enjoy reading in year 3 and loved talking about our favourite books and dressing up as our favourite characters on World Book Day 2026!

What a fabulous bunch of children ………

Year 1 had great fun for World Book Day! They came dressed up as their favourite book character, we read books the children had brought in and wrote about their favourite character.

2O’N have used their knowledge of times tables to help with dividing and making equal groups. article: 28

The sun shone for our first tennis lesson. articles: 28 and 31

This half term the children in Year 1 are looking at where they could visit in the world. The children started their investigation by trying to name as many different countries in the world as they could. They named 27 countries! The children then used atlases to locate some of those countries.
