Year 6

This week the year 6 classes have been deep in a Times Table Rockstar battle! Class 6LA came out victorious but here are our 5 highest scoring rockstars from the competition with their prizes! Well done to everyone who took part.

In music lessons, year 6 have been learning about pitch and dynamics. In today’s lesson, they recorded their own graphic scores and then used glockenspiels in a performance. They had to also act as conductors to support their peers during the performances.

Today 12 children competed at the Gateshead SSP cross country event at Watergate Park. A HUGE well done to you all! 🌟

Year 6 have spent the last couple of lessons, in art, learning about the seven artistic elements. The children have then produced their own autumnal piece of work to showcase each element.

Yesterday, lots of our incredible Year 6 children gave presentations about why they would make a great School Councillor. Well done to stood up and spoke, they showed real courage.
