Nursery

We had a great time investigating how to make the boats move with the water. It was fun seeing the water slide down and splash out the other end.

Some of our children enjoyed pretending to be police officers. They made badges, arrests and the timers came in handy to make sure children stayed in prison for long enough. I wonder if you can spot who loved playing the ‘robber’, and who made a break for it out of the prison window!  

We loved hearing about the new school and building one of our own. We wore the safety jackets, the hard hats, drew plans and even did some safety checks!

We tried some fortune cookies. We found out that some of us will be ‘prosperous’, ‘one of us was ‘cool’, Sunday and Wednesday are going to be ‘lucky’and that lots of us will always be ‘surrounded by friends!

Snack time was a little different today. We enjoyed trying pancakes for a change. Some of us loved them , some of us weren’t so sure!

We are enjoying finding out about Chinese New Year. We are making a dragon and learning about the lucky colour red. We have loved the music and parades we have seen on the computer.  

There was a rainbow outside Nursery this morning so we spent the day painting our own! We loved looking at the different colours and singing the rainbow song.  

There are lots of us who love Superheroes and so we created our own  ‘SuperHero Headquarters’! We had missions to complete and we decided to make our own outfits and come up with our own games.

We had a visit from our local dentist and learnt all about keeping our teeth healthy. We loved pretending to be dentists ourselves too!

We had a lovely last day of term having our faces painted and playing Christmas games. Merry Christmas!
