Nursery

We have been learning to concentrate, listen and follow instructions and this has meant that we have been able to produce our own versions of a pirate ship painting! What do you think? The children were all very proud of what they achieved.

Nursery loved their visit from the chicks today. We talked about looking after them and taking good care of them. We even used them to do some maths!

We really enjoyed our visit to Whickham library. The children loved hearing the stories and sharing the books. Thank you to all of our helpers! Article 28

We have been very lucky this week as two local dental nurses came in to talk to us about our teeth. We talked about sugar and how it is bad for our teeth and how we need to brush our teeth twice a day for two minutes. Article 24, 28

This week we have been planting carrot seeds and onions. We really hope they will grow so we are going to try hard to look after them. Article 28

In Nursery we have been making Easter cards, Easter nests and we were really lucky because the Easter Bunny came! We had an Easter egg hunt which involved lots of counting! Happy Easter Everyone! Article 28

This morning the whole school walked to St. Mary’s Church for our Easter service. We all joined in singing Easter songs… thank you to Mrs Marshall, Mrs Smith and all of Year Two who provided us with the story of Easter and musical instruments during the songs! Article 28, 29 and article 30

We have been enjoying playing in our spaceship area today. We have been counting down to lift off, searching for aliens, crash landing and fixing our rocket and much more. It has been great fun. Article 31

        Thank you to everyone who placed an order at the Usborne Book Fair this week. As a result we have been able to order several new sets of books for the reading scheme. Thank you for your continued support.
