Today Reception have been learning about Bonfire Night! We played the song Firework and did a ‘Just Dance’ to the song, which we all loved!
We listened to a story about fireworks and how to keep safe whilst using sparklers. During the day we have used chalks outside to draw our own firework displays, created our own fireworks using glue and glitter, painted our own firework displays and made sparklers using melted chocolate and sparkles.
We also enjoyed our science experiment using powder paint, bicarbonate of soda and vinegar. We mixed them all together and watched them explode like fireworks!
