A HUGE congratulations to our Year 5 and 6 gymnasts who competed at the County Finals on Friday. They all performed amazingly and came away as County gold medalists!🌟🥇

The children had a fantastic time completing lots of various sporting activities with the young leaders and Whickham Comprehensive.      

In PE this term, we are working on our fitness. We set up a fitness circuit this afternoon and spent 2 minutes on each station. Our favourite station was Freestyle Dance! We hope to improve our fitness as the weeks progress.  

All of the girls from Y5 went to compete at The Glebe on Friday for the day, in the Gateshead SSP Girls Cricket competition. They all had a brilliant day, showed fantastic team work and improved on their cricket skills. Well done to you all!

Yesterday a group of children represented Front Street in the Gateshead SSP Quad Kids competition. They took part in a range of running and throwing activities. Well done to you all!

Year 5 enjoyed the events today. The ice pops provided by FOFS were a welcome reward at the end!

What a glorious sunny day for our Sports Day. The children had a fabulous time!  

Today 35 children from Y6 took part in the Gateshead SSP cricket tournament at the Glebe. They played a number of different games throughout the day. Well done to team A who qualified for the quarter finals. It was lovely to see everyone enjoying the games and showing fantastic team work!

We thoroughly enjoyed our Sports Day in year 2 and loved having our parents there to watch. Thank you to Miss Gilderoy and the School Sports Partnership for organising and to everyone who helped out.

Today, eight children from Year 4 competed in the Gateshead SSP Tennis competition. After playing a number of games, the children proudly finished in third place medal position!🥉
