National Poetry Day

This year the theme for National Poetry Day was ‘Refuge’. During assembly the Reading Ambassadors read a selection of poems around this theme. The children remembered that the current Children’s Laureate was called Joseph Coehlo.
The library has many poetry books that the children can choose to read.
