Reception enjoyed using our outside area for different experiments! We made our water area into a water investigation area. We used ice to see how long it took to melt and why the ice melted, we used different ramps to see how far and fast the water flowed, we used our wooden scales and filled buckets of water up to try and make them balance and we used different sized containers to fill and pour water. We then used our water toys to see which ones floated and which ones sunk.
We also enjoyed using our Front Street Construction site where we made our plans and then built our models. We used sand to join the bricks together and we worked as a team to transport the bricks from one area to the next, using the wheelbarrows.
