This week Reception have been exploring Australia! Their last stop with our school teddy, Ted!
We watched a David Attenborough video which taught us all about the Great Barrier Reef. We have learnt about the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Sydney Opera House and Uluru.
We have made our own rainbow fish based on the story rainbow fish and the Great Barrier Reef, we have made our own boomerangs using our fine motor skills to cut a paint them, we have made our didgeridoos out of tubes and we did our independent writing based on what we would like to do if we visited Australia.
Mrs Kain from the office brought in a real didgeridoo and boomerangs for us to hold and look at. We even got to try and play the didgeridoo!!
We finished our week off enjoying a treat from Ali and the kitchen team. They made us our very own sea creature biscuits, we loved them!
