Today Reception celebrated Outright Day! We read the story ‘Saving Tally’ which taught us about a turtle that got stuck in a plastic bag. We discussed how we can keep the sea safe by recycling more.
Our favourite rights are; the right to play and to have an education- we LOVE coming to school! We learnt that we have duty bearers who help us have our rights, these people are over 18 years old.
We created our own Saving Tally display, showing a clean sea. This is now up in our classroom to remind us of this story and how important it is to recycle. We also did our independent writing on how we can help Tally and his friends keep safe.
