What a week!

Receptions Newsletter, 19.06.2020

This week Reception have all been busy completing different tasks! They have been focusing on life cycles. The children have chosen their own life cycle they wanted to learn about and then created ways to represent and show us these! We were so impressed with all of your ideas! They have also been completing maths challenges, listening to stories read by staff, writing about themselves and doing dot to dot number pictures!

We also took part in the RRSA world’s largest lesson this week! – Learning all about our rights!

The key worker children who have been in school watched the RRSA Corona Virus video and we then discussed all of the rights that were linked to the video. We then talked about our School Mascot, Daisy and what she does for our families!

Articles 1, 2, 3, 7, 12, 24 and 28

Our shout outs this week goes to ALL of our children who have taken the time to complete the tasks set! You amaze us with your determination, perseverance and  your attitudes towards learning. A massive thank you to all of our parents and carers who take the time each day to work with your children to help them continue to learn! – We couldn’t do it without you!!!

Have a lovely, well rested weekend and stay safe! Mrs Wilkinson, Mrs Donaldson, Mrs Armstrong and Miss Routledge!
