On Monday we celebrated Cultural Diversity Day in school. Following Mrs Gladstone’s visit to Shanghai earlier this year, we decided to focus on the culture of China. The children participated in a variety of activities to help them develop awareness of similarities and differences with other cultures and places.
There were some very good messages given to the children during the day and I hope this works towards supporting them in developing positive attitudes around diversity. Something that is perhaps more important in our society today than ever before.
