A soaking day in year 2!

Over the last two weeks the children have been looking at and describing the properties of different materials. Today we made our umbrellas from different materials – cloth, sellotape, paper, cling film, tin foil and a plastics coated material. Some children volunteered to be the tester! The staff just couldn’t keep away! Some of us got wet and some of us stayed dry! See what you think. Which umbrella scored the best marks?
