Welcome to our Reception transition page at Front Street Primary School.
Starting school is an exciting time and an important stage of your child’s educational journey. We aim to make this as smooth as possible for our families and children as these are treasured moments.
When starting Reception, staff visit all children in their pre-school setting, parents are invited into school to meet the staff and we host an induction meeting. In the summer term, children have transition mornings in our reception setting and meet their new teachers.
As a school, we aim to keep in touch with you by sending updates, videos and messages via our Class Dojo app, school website, Facebook and Tapestry accounts.
The Reception Team are always available on a morning and evening and will be happy to help.
