This week Reception have been learning all about Brazil. Ted, our class teddy bear showed us lots of different places he had been visiting. We learnt all about Christ the Redeemer and how he embraces the people of Brazil. We saw a huge water park which has a slide that reminds us of a sink and we learnt about Sugarloaf Mountain. During our PE lessons we have been learning a Samba dance and how to play the drums in time with the music!
Today we made our very own masks, pom poms ands shakers. We then performed our Samba dance for the kitchen staff! – They loved it!
A HUGE thank you to Ali from the kitchen who made us all a special cupcake with the Brazilian flag colours on it, they were delicious!
