Today, we explored which rocks would make a good surface for a kitchen bench. We performed scratch tests on slate, marble, chalk, brick, flint, pumice, limestone and obsidian. Our results are shown in one of the pictures.
We decided that a next step would be to do a permeability test as benches shouldn’t let water pass through.
