What a week! We have gone from tropical weather to miserable rain and wind. I have loved seeing your photos this week, as always they cheer me up. Can you believe this is your last half term in Year 1 – this year has flown by.
This week you have all been busy we have had –
- Arts and crafts – painting stones, making cardboard figures, origami and modelling with play dough
- Cooking some yummy cakes
- PE skills ready for Year 2 lessons
- Lots of fun outdoor activities in the sunshine – swinging on a home made tree swing, paddling, snorkelling, trips to the beach, walks outside and dipping our toes in streams
- Amazing Eid celebrations
- House moves – someone in 1M has been putting new furniture together
- Someone has even been helping their parents to dust – I need you to come to my house
- I have seen lots of lovely writing this week – travel brochures, animal facts, Egyptian projects and story writing
