We have a new shop role-play area in Reception so we thought it would be a good idea to have a real life experience of visiting the shop and getting everything on our shopping list. Both classes made a shopping list and then we set off! We saw lots of shops in Whickham and then we reached the greengrocers where we bought the items on our list. When we got back to school we chopped up and tasted the fruit and vegetables that we bought. Thank you to all the parents/grandparents etc who helped out so we could have this experience.
