Tudor Travellers’ Challenge

To end our Tudor Term with a ‘bang’, we were all set the challenge to imagine we’d been on a voyage around the world, funded by one of the Tudor monarchs.

The challenge was to return from the voyage with a gift fit for a king (or queen)! We had to design and make an object that would be presented to our monarch of choice, to thank them for the funding. The object would have to show how much we appreciated their support to ensure we didn’t lose our heads!

We used our knowledge of the Tudor period as well as our knowledge about each monarch to help with our choices. Some of us worked in teams while others worked individually. We slaved away on our projects for a full day; take a look at our marvellous masterpieces…
